EFL Twitter List

EFL must follow twitter list

Norwood V Lilydale

Norwood V Lilydale

When starting this blog about the EFL I figured I needed to find as many people as possible that are involved in the league. Whether that it is through a team account, media, local papers or fans in general.

The use of social media in the EFL is massive and is a great place for people to get updates on scores, ladders, fixtures and any other news around the league as well as feature stories which gave me the idea for my next post coming up.

Quick access to scores is essential for all footy fans and the EFL provide fantastic service when it comes to live scores.

I have compiled a list of over 50 accounts to follow and I’ll go into more detail at the most important accounts to follow for all things EFL.

  1. EFL  – The obvious first place you would go for all things EFL. Provides scores and updates about every game and team each week.
  2. Dyson Baker  – Current EFL media manager.
  3. Ben Waterworth  – Former EFL media manager, now working at Superfooty for the Herald Sun.
  4. Lilydale Leader   Knox Leader  Maroondah Leader  – Local papers covering the league
  5. Women of the EFL  – A group of women representing a range of EFL clubs. Provided to inspire women in the EFL.
  6. EFL Teams – There is a massive list of team accounts that are in twitter for you to be able to keep up to date on how your team is tracking. For example
  7. Wayne Brasher  – Commentator for EFL games broadcast on 98.1.
  8. Georgina Cahill – Part of the EFL media team.
  9. Jo Hart-Parker  – Chair Person of Women of the EFL.
  10. Davis Harrigan  – Part of the EFL media team also providing photography.

I will be continually adding to this list and if you know anyone you feel should be added to this list, feel free to leave their twitter handle in the comment section below.
